ROADTEC™ 02 are innovative tires that adjust to the rider's riding style. The grooves cater to both long-distance trips and sporty rides. This system also positively influences maneuverability, ensuring excellent performance on both wet and dry surfaces. 

2 Tires in One: When riding sporty and the tire is engaged at a higher pace, the walls of the narrow portion of the grooves join together increasing tread pattern stability. This entrusts the compound to deliver all the grip potential, improves trajectory precision especially when leaning, and determinates a Super-Sport class tire behavior.

Handling: The footprint surface is very smooth thanks to the reduced quantity of grooves over the tread pattern, thus increasing the quality and ease of handling. Less grooves translates to less interruptions of the surface, bringing less vibrations, less noise and a more uniform transition from upright to leaning.

Grip on Dry: The greater rate of rubber in contact with the ground enables the footprint area to generate more grip. Moreover, the Adaptive Tread Pattern design increases the tread compactness and reactivity when riding faster. Rear sizes feature a dual-compound layout, with a soft shoulder stripe that increase grip when leaning. This soft stripe covers approximately 80% of the tire width, equally split between the two sides.

Grip on Wet: The new generation of full-silica compounds of both the fronts and rears improve the chemical adhesion to wet roads. The use of similar compounds on the front and rear shoulders, provides an homogeneous contact feeling when leaning.

Towards Sustainability: ROADTEC™ 02 obtained ISO 14021. This certification was carried out by an independent third-party (Bureau Veritas) and verifies the percentage of materials content, in all the plants in which ROADTEC™ 02 is produced.
